How Does It Work?
Summer reading is really all about what works best for your family! There are children's programs, teen/adult programs, adults only programs, family programs, and a reading competition. You can participate in whatever portions work best for your schedule - if certain programs are of interest, attend those! If it doesn't work to attend programs because of travel, but you're reading a lot, then participate in the reading competition portion! Want to do a bit of everything - that's awesome too!
Here are the main reminders:
1. Because we are doing off site programming this year, we would really appreciate all participants of programs to register online. This allows us to have contact information and better prepare supplies for all programs.
2. If you are participating in the reading competition/reading logs portion, all logs are due by end of day on July 31! No late reading logs will be accepted, and prize drawings will be done on August 1. Can't make it in to return bookmarks or prefer an online option? Use this link for our digital log instead!
3. Summer reading is open to EVERYONE, even adults! Even grandparents! If something says it's a children's program and you still want to attend with your kids, that sounds fabulous - because we'll be there having fun too.
4. If you miss something that was of interest to you, please check out our Digital Branch! Every Friday we will be uploading instructions, videos, and more from what we've been doing in the Columbus Community so that you can recreate or try at home.
