Programs
We know that it's not always an option to attend programs at specific times on specific days, so we're putting together digital programming that's always available when you have time! We hope you enjoy some of the digital programming the library has to offer!
Playful Pages, hosted on the Band app like Bookish Balance, is where we will share programming ideas, instructions, and links to help you participate in library programs at home.
We will be sharing summer reading programming and activities, videos, and instructions. We'll also bring back Family Dinner Book Club books, ideas, and recipes, Family Movie Night themes and ideas, Armchair Traveler, and more fun things for everyone! Playful Pages will bring programming ideas for all ages and all interests. While you have no obligation to engage with others on that platform, it is still available to ask questions or share your experiences!
The library regularly does escape rooms/breakout boxes as a part of our programming in library, and we're so excited to bring digital versions to you as well! Navigate on the web to breakout.edu and choose "sign up" in the upper right corner. You'll then select student, input your name and last initial, and enter this class code: EUA483. When you select "create account," you'll be logged into the library's "classroom" where you can select any of the digital escape rooms that we've "assigned." That just means we've made them available to you, and we'll have at least 5 new ones each month. Be sure to look at the grades/topic areas, if you're trying to make sure one is right for the kiddos in your life. But honestly parents, some of these are pretty challenging and fun to work on together!
The library is also on Spotify! Check out these playlists that we've created for specific books, and we'll continue to add more as we go! All books are also available at the library or on Overdrive/Libby.
